Sony a7 III Mirrorless Camera Body, Black {24MP}

The a7 III is the third of generation of Sony's "base" model full frame camera. However, it's truly a mid-tier camera for enthusiasts that offers a major step-up in quality from Sony's smaller sensor less feature rich APS-C cameras. The a7 III notably has autofocus performance inherited from Sony's flagship a9 camera for sports pros and photojournalists and a 24MP BSI (Back Sider Illuminated) sensor that produces cleaner images. The a7 III is great option for casual photographers wanting to level up with Sony's vast ecosystem of full frame lenses.

In 2021 Sony introduced the a7 IV featuring a 33MP sensor and several other upgrades including a new menu structure. Sony has continued producing the popular a7 III as a more affordable option. The earlier a7 II can still be found as well but features a non-BSI sensor, smaller batteries, and slower performance.
